Our contract for solar power was signed in March, 2017! We are excited about this opportunity to install a solar power system on our property! Almost two thirds of the funds are already available. The last $100,000 is being raised now; our desire is to complete a cash purchase of the system. Once installed, the savings from the power produced will offset our costs by about $100,000 per year. The expected life of the solar power system is about 25 years, saving us money for years to come.
