Gleanings for the Hungry is a Mercy Ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM), located in California’s Central Valley. Our mission is to feed the hungry of the world, physically and spiritually. The Discipleship Training School (DTS) at Gleanings for the Hungry is a full-time, five-month adventure in getting to know God better, and making God known in the nations. The DTS consists of two parts: the lecture phase and the outreach phase. The 12-week lecture phase will help you to know God intimately by covering subjects such as: The Father Heart of God, Spiritual Authority, Hearing the Voice of God, Missions and Evangelism,  & MORE.

The eight-week outreach phase will give you an opportunity to make God known as you travel to another country, and put into practice all you learned throughout the lecture phase. Gleanings for the Hungry will ship a container of food, produced at our location, to the outreach nation, which students will get to share with the people they encounter while on outreach, along with the Good News of a Good God who loves them beyond their wildest imaginings!

Cost : Lecture phase $3000
Outreach Cost: $3000 – $4000 depending on location.
Vaccines: If vaccines are needed, they will be an additional cost.
