It’s December! We can now officially begin to wish each other a happy holiday season. So – happy holidays everyone!
This week at Gleanings, we began to pull out the Christmas decorations, and started to plan for our Christmas festivities here. It seems like there is so much to plan, to set up, to buy, to bake, to write, to send, to do. What a lot of planning it takes just to celebrate Jesus together!
Psalm 94:19 says: “In the multitude of my thoughts within me, thy comforts delight my soul.”
We hope that you are all enjoying the build up to Christmas, and that you can keep your focus on God, family, and friends, rather than on the busyness of the season. We pray that your December is full of joy, cheer, and peace. After all, Jesus is the “reason for the season”, as they say, and He is the Prince of Peace! May you be productive and accomplish all you set out to do with glad hearts, and may your minds and souls be filled with the love and peace that only Jesus brings. Happy December!
We would also like to say a big thank you to the three groups who came to help us out this week: Newberry Springs Community Church, Bethany Church from Long Beach, and the Sacramento area homeschooling crew. Thank you all for your hard work!
