God is so faithful, and his abundance is evident. So often we brag on God’s abundance in terms of the amount of ingredients donated, or the volume of soup produced during a week. We have been noticing His abundance and blessings in our midst in various other ways as well: Just look at all of those young people here as summer staff! Our summer staff program is alive and well! These interns are faithfully running peach plant operations, and ministering to teams as they come to work. We got some candid pictures of a few of our summer staff last week. Clearly hard work is not the only thing that goes on around here!
The teams that came and served this week were from Eastern Oregon all the way down the Pacific Coast to San Diego, CA. What a great mixture of people, talent, work, fun and ministry! Every week there have been some testimonies of people being healed, and set free while they are here. Over 500 bins of fresh fruit were processed this week, as well as 163,000 servings of soup mix!

We just wanted to share some peach pictures! Yes we are in summer peach season, and oh the peaches are beautiful. We are busy with teams coming, long summer days, and did I mention peaches?

We love to do prayer and intercession on Thursdays, but today is a special Thursday. It’s the National Day Of Prayer. Will you join us in prayer? Pray with us for our Nation, and State, and local governments. Pray with us for our children, and education Pray for us for our Church – Unity, brotherly love, opportunities to share God’s good news. Pray for us about issues that divide our nation like gender and sexuality issues. Pray with us for those refugees in harms way, and trying to find a place in the world.

2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
We are so excited to be able to bless ministries in foreign nations from the abundance the Lord has blessed us with. Mission Without Borders is serving people in Eastern Europe and loves to share food from Gleanings with the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Matthew 25:40
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Gleanings is so happy to have so many wonderful partner ministries distributing food with the hope of the good news. We also are thrilled to have smaller ministries. Mission Builders Dan and MaryLou Barthold recently took a couple trips to Mexico. They were able to take food, and quilts into Mexico, to ministries that otherwise, might not have received any aid. One ministry they visited is called “The Least Of These”, where women and children that have been abused and marginalized are able to get some help and find the dignity and love they need. Pray for The Least Of These Ministries in Vicente Guerero, Mexico.
